KAC 11.5 SR-16 URG w/ sandcutter carrier and chrome boltNice
Specs/details on the top rifle??
I've made a few changes to my rifle since it was last posted here, I have it pretty well set up currently but I may switch the 14.5" pinned barrel out for a 13.7" setup. I'll probably buy a MARS lower to match the upper at some point and use the Areo for another project too.
It is a CMMG bolt and barrel kit, drops into a standard receiver. The barrel is made with 1:12 twist for 22lr and and interfaces with the 22lr drop in bolt in such a way that eliminates the chamber adapter you find on the usual 22 conversions. The accuracy is great for a 4.5” barrel. I have only shot it with a red dot and never for groups but i can consistently hit a pie plate at a hundred yards with it.
Dumb question... Does it need a left hand bcg?Left-hand build here:
CMT Billet Receiver Set
Young Manufacturing NM BCG and JP SCS
18" Chrome-lined Criterion Hybrid Profile, rifle gas, Surefire Flash Hider
Magpul UBR stock and MOE+ grip
Radian small parts
Burris XTR2 1-8 FFP in a Scalarworks LEAP
Just barely fit a Vltor gas block under the Aero S-One handguard lol.
Hopefully taking her to the range tomorrow, super excited.
Very nice! You might have to keep this one for yourself! Nice work. Here's a .300 Blackout pistol I went a little overboard cost-wise in building. Wouldn't it be awful if no one bought it?!?
