.300 Blackout pistols seem much in demand lately. The reason is I believe folks appreciate the increased effectiveness of bigger bullet from shorter barrels. Big, heavy subsonics are "movie-quiet" when fired suppressed; and, it is tough to hide from a Barnes TSX at 2350 fps. Here's another custom Blackout build, this one with LAW Tactical folding mechanism; V Seven 10.2" SS barrel plus push pins, safety, and receiver end plate; Geissele SD-3G trigger, Super Charging Handle, 9.5" MK 14 rail, and Aimpoint mount; Aimpoint T-2; JP FMOS bolt carrier group; Vltor A5 recoil system; SB-A3 brace; Surefire WarComp; Magpul K2+ grip plus 30-RD magazine.

I've got a pistol build I did and I used a Geissele Super 14 fore end for it. I love it. Nicest one I own for sure.

All together minus a few accessories. Hope to break the barrel in, tune the gas system and get it sighted in next weekend.

This is my COLT SOCOM 6920. I dropped a Wilson trigger group in it, added the MAGPUL stock and Ergo oversided grip. I'm using a Blue Force Vickers sling and that's an AIMPOINT T2 on it. The charging handle is steel and has an extended handle on it. Rear sight is KAC mil-issue. Flashlight is Surefire in offsent mount. I have two MAGPUL Gen 3 mags with Magpul connector.

TINY BUT MIGHTY PANDEMIC PROTECTION*!!! 8.5" .300 Blackout "pistol" that weighs in at an astonishingly low 4.75 pounds. Started with an 8.5" Noveske SS .300 BLK barrel, with feed ramps contoured and polished. Housed in a Battle Arms Development BAD 556-LW billet receiver set with BAD 6.7" RigidRail out front. JP DLC coated FMOS bolt carrier group and Geissele Super Charging handle inside the upper. TriggerTech 3.5 LB Competition trigger. V Seven titanium mag release, receiver end plate, tube nut, fire control pins, buffer stop, grip screw, etc. SBA3 pistol brace with JP SCS inside. That's a Troy Claymore on the muzzle.

* Thermometer not included.

Although "for transport only", I love mine. It has helped the rubber keep its shape well

Just got in my first Kahles K18i with 3-Gun reticle. Going to a 3-gun shooter in Florida. Really like the long power lever for rapid use. If it's too long for your tastes, a shorter one comes in the box with the scope, as well. Incredible glass, great reticle design, and Arizona daytime bright dot!!! More coming, too.

The host weapon consists of a SanTan STT-15 billet receiver set supporting a Proof Research 18" CWF 5.56 barrel with rifle length gas system. MSTN QC Brake (developed by Taran Butler) out front. V Seven titanium everything - adjustable gas block, push pins, receiver end plate and tube nut, safety, etc. Young Manufacturing SLC bolt carrier with fitted bolt, all DLC coated.

My new main hunting AR:
20200325_165947.jpg

20200325_170220.jpg

I'm getting ready to clean the red and white out of the lettering and get the upper/lower/handguard cerakoted Federal Standard Field Drab. The covers and stock are just rattle canned so I can change them up anytime.

This is my go to hunting rifle anymore. It's a bit wieldy at 18" but I'm lanky so I can run it pretty well in the woods. I never shoot past 300yds hunting with it so it fits the bill. I run the light for coyotes here at night. Only have a split second before they find cover and disappear.

WOA SS 6.8SPC II 1:11 18" 4 Groove
Young Manuf. Lower
PRI Upper, gas block and carrier
Centurion 12" Quad Rail
Seekins ATC
WOA headspaced C158 bolt
RRA Chrome 2 Stage NM Trigger
HK stock and grip
Nikon ProStaff 3-9×40 BDC

I'll eventually replace the stock with a SOPMOD or CTR. Of course a better optic, I've been spending all my money on rifles parts and ammo. I'll get around to the optics. I know it's not a high end rig but it is a hammer. Has been reliable so far, I'm coming to trust it. Needs a couple hundred more rounds through it to be truly broken in. I've got 340rds through it, it loves SSA 110 TSX TAC load. Even though I'm not a big SSA fan, it does seem to run great in this rifle. Had to up to a H3 buffer to run the 115 OTM.

I have a shit load of components I'm trying to collect some dies now and start trying to work loads up for it. It's one of my favorite rifles.

The Arken 4-16 has actually turned out to be a decent DMR optic. Comparable size to a 5-25 Vudu (its predecessor on this gun) and honestly, a slight edge in glass quality.

@just browsing

Hows the tracking/overall feel/durability? Kinda interested in the 4-14x44 for the same purpose.

Tracking has been fine. True on the DMR out to 700 yards and back to zero.

Feel and durability are about what you’d expect. Turrets are actually really nice, but the parallax, mag ring, and focus are just “meh.” Otherwise, fine for what it is.

I did have to send my first one back before ever mounting or shooting it because of an issue with the elevation turret... but they made it right and I made it a point to make sure I wrenched on the replacement pretty good. Have not had any issues since.

Certainly not going to say it competes with a Gen 2 Razor in any way or anything similar, but it holds its own in the sub $1500 class.

The newest one. Trying to flesh out those lowers I got before the commies take over. A shame you can't just have parts anymore with the expectation you can just finish it later.

Krieger bbl. (16", .223Wylde, 7.7) bedded to an MUR1 upper w/Loctite 620, KAC URX4, JP Ent. FMOS BCG, Geissele SSA-E. Leupold MR/T (had it handy). Still need some Mlok shit for a bipod, etc. Front sight is done that way so it won't interfere with the PVS30.

It's a light and solid rifle and I'm hoping it turns out to be one of those .25MOA gems but we'll see.

Compared to the other Recce rifle using a Lilja barrel and KAC FF rail, the new one is much lighter.

Thanks man, lower is far from spec. Aero, bcm lpk, giessele dmr trigger, and acs. I bought upper, lnib, for 1050.

Just finished this one.
