Forget about NYE, we had thunder storms, power outages and hot weather...

The good news is the USO ST10's finally arrived 31st December after ordering it in early August! I won't exactly miss my MK4 scope, this is a definite huge step in the right direction.
Couple days earlier my Swaro laser guide came from CameraLand to replace the busted Bushnell 1500ARC LRF. Hitting stop signs past 1,680 meters from the tripod.
PRS medium SSP2 tripod for christmas from my partner.

It's all coming together, the system is rounding out.

This is a great community, a hive of important and accurate information with good vendors and good atmosphere. So I wish a happy new year to everyone and I hope that you and your families have a good festive holiday together.
    Take care,
    J

That is handsome. Very nice. If you don't mind, which bubble unit is that and how do you like it's placement? That looks like a better system than the side folders, etc.

Have a wonderful new year as well!

Those are magpul rail covers, they are soft rubber and can be cut to any lenght. if you need one pm me as I have three new ones for sale.

Hi mate, it's the "Anti Cant Device" from the brownells website, was about $20. It really brings your attention to rifle cant... It might feel straight but often is off centre when you take a peek. This is all about 1%ers so if it helps and doesn't weigh a tonne it's welcome.
Placement really isnt an issue now, on my illuminated reticle MK4 I couldn't actually see the bubble with either eye when taking a sight picture but now with the ST10 just open your non master eye and it's right there. Backed up against the rear scope ring to keep it out of the ejection port area. Nice and low profile, defintitely worth the money.

The rail protector, correct MagPul just the normal RIS RAS ladder rail cover. Got them for my MIRS Rail to stop the side rails getting smashed. They can be found all over the place.

Impact, so far the Swaro is MUCH more precise than the Bushnell 1500ARC however is much slower at the same time. I also find that the button is huge and fairly stiff so if you're free-hanging it when you press to lase it can come off centre a bit moving the reticle potentially getting a wrong reading. The unit will mount to a tripod base plate which is good (I use our bushnell spotter plate for that, good to go!)

Thanks for the kind words fellas, will hopefully be out in the field later this week so will snap a couple pics of things relating to stuff.

    Take care,
    J

I would also like to know where those pouches came from. i havent seen anything like them online. Eagle industries has some but not with the cord on them.
