The Downfall of America........

"[It’s] 1,000 times harder," said Alisa Ogden, a New Mexico rancher. "It really is difficult. It’s hard to keep people working for you, just because of some of the free things they have gotten from the Biden administration."

A Delaware man recently discovered while trying to sell part of the property his family has owned for two generations that his neighbor had taken control of the land, and he has lost possession after the neighbor claimed squatter's rights.

The legal system in America has failed.
Daily we are seeing law abiding individuals giving up hope of the local Sheriff, District Attorneys and the entirety of any "safety net" that is supposed to protect them and their family.

No worries about the rats. They have left sinking ships since Biblical times.

The Biden administration has introduced the military budget plan for 2024 which proposes cutting two ships from the Navy.
Under Biden’s administration, Military experts and senior Navy officers have repeatedly called for more ships to increase the Navy capabilities in order to deter China’s fleet. However, Biden’s newly proposed budget plan calls for the decommissioning of 11 ships and the construction of only nine.
For the past several years, the Navy has had the goal of having 355 manned ships as part of its fleet. Despite the goal that has been set by military experts and officials, the Biden administration, for the last three years, has proposed shrinking the fleet below the 298 ships that are currently active.

Biden will bring in 50 dollar boats manned by oars so he can use that count towards 355; he'll cut any ship that China doesn't like.

I used to be able to get decent help every now and them for $20-25/hr. Can't do that anymore, not even at 50.

Food and beverage coming into port or in a warehouse is No. 1 on the list of products being targeted by freight thieves who are increasing their criminal activity across the national supply chain. It’s a sign of the economic times, and adding further pressure to the high prices faced by consumers during an elevated inflation environment.
“During the financial downturn in 2008, we saw a theft shift towards food and beverage where it stayed in that spot until the end of 2019,” says Scott Cornell, transportation lead and crime and theft specialist at insurance provider Travelers. “In 2020, we saw the target move to household goods, because we were all at home. In 2021, electronic theft was high due to some shortages as a result of all the working and schooling from home.”

Food inflation has moderated, but remains up almost 10% year over year,

And according to the Demoncrats this inflation is caused by:

Instead, Mr. Powell — along with Mr. Biden and his advisers — says rapid price growth is primarily being driven by factors like snarled supply chains, an oil shock following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and a shift among American consumers from spending money on services like travel and dining out to goods like furniture.

Mr. Powell has also said the low unemployment rate was playing a role: “Some part of the high inflation that we’re experiencing is very likely related to an extremely tight labor market,” he told a House committee earlier this month.

Translation: oil prices are the fault of Russia and not our own energy policies, people aren't spending enough on dining and travel, and the peasants' wages are too high.

The UK government on Monday said that more than 94,000 prepayment meters had been forcibly installed in homes last year, as household energy bill debt soars to dangerous heights.
British Gas, Scottish Power and OVO Energy were named by the government as having forcibly installed the lion’s share of prepayment meters before regulators ordered a halt to the practice in February, describing the three utilities as “the most overzealous suppliers”. The government singled out Scottish Power as the “worst offender”, having installed over 24,000 prepayment meters to force pay-as-you-go energy for households.

I’m not sure it’s currently in progress. If so it’s the early stages which it very may be.

Either way I don’t see a way the US, as we know it, survives. We would have to defeat Russia and China and/or win the currency war. Quite possibly it will take all three; leaving there is no alternative to the dollar.

Imo, we are currently losing all three.

I agree. America has been making mistakes since the end of WW2 (+/-). The USA rode on it's "mightiness". So mighty that if over looked the need to defend what it had. Our enemies never interrupted our mistakes. Today, America can not defend what it has... whether in war, finance, health or resources.

You got something mixed up here. The Chinese are buying Russian oil using Russian currency. China needs oil and of all their resources oil is not one of them. But you had the basic idea right, no $ anymore.

I really can't "like" anything in this thread, it is all just so dad. The US has become the school yard bully at best.

Commerce is being carried on, world wide, without America.
China continues to build a formidable army.
When China is curtailed on importing oil, they will simply take over the country possessing oil.
The school yard bully will become one more observer of the take over.

Nothing there to disagree with.

Remember the movie Christine. You have two "strong" people in that movie at the start. Arnie's friend with the charger, and the hippie dude that bullies him. I had hoped the US would be like Dennis but we are just the bully soon to become the door mat.

I guess we can look at it all and say, well it took over 50 years to kill the US.

When a person can reply to me rationally, factually, with conviction..... I am all ears. I have been wrong, about many things, throughout my life.
In my old age, I often state "I hope I am wrong".... I have children in their late 40's and grandchildren in high school.
My observations are not painting a pretty picture for my grandchildren to deal with.
I have often pondered what I could leave for them that would help with the challenges they will meet in their 40's.

And herein lies a problem.
These parents will drop dead from old age while still at work.

I can see that, and do see that. It is the kind of thing that the parent does not like to talk about for some very clear reasons....at least clear to me, and if they admit it clear to them as well admitting painful things is not real common anymore, if you admit them to yourself, you then must find who is responsible, and that is never the parent is it.

I have one boy, just got married in Oct. She does some Dr. thing. High school sweethearts. She does some kind of Dr. thing, him too smart for his own good. Not in a smart ass way, it his actually just too smart, so doing things "the right way" take too long and are too boring. I do worry about him. The "tell me" they are saving her entire check and paying bills on his. This also is a bit of a worry for me, but I keep it to myself.

I would say they will witness the fall, some might even witness the landing. As to the identify part.....that will be the fault of the people that called the fall out long before it happened and all the attempts to slow it or soften the landing. Everyone will be told that it would have worked just great but................

Activists on Wednesday demanded that the state of California pay millions of dollars to each Black resident in reparations as a way to make amends for slavery and subsequent discrimination, dismissing the idea of payments of $5 million per person as "nothing" and "too little."
The demands were made at an in-person meeting of the California Reparations Task Force, which was created by state legislation signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2020. The committee was hearing comments from the public as it considers final recommendations to submit to the California Legislature, which will then decide whether to implement the measures and send them to Newsom's desk to be signed into law.

And of my ancestors....nothing. Not a large enough group. When we are finally pushed so far, we tend not to gripe and complain like the group in your article but grab a rifle. But just like 100 years before we are just too few.

I have not read this article just picked the first search result that came up.

As a student of history I look on the events of the past, look at the events of the current....and try to form some form of conclusion. What I come up with I don't like. But I do know one thing from events like Wounded knee, the first or second one, ruby ridge, waco.....that unless there are enough of on that one side, with enough resolve you will end in the same way as all these others, ground to dust under the heal of a tyranny.

I was just to thinking last night. At the rate we're going, just a couple more years, and we'll be just like Mexico.

Murder in the streets, and no one cares.

Yesterday, in his proclamation regarding the “Trans Day of Visibility”, Creepy Joe Biden claimed that transgenders shape the soul of our nation. Today, March 31, 2023, is the Trans Day of Visibility, falling just four days after three children and three adults were violently murdered in a Christian (the horror) school by a trans man and before all the victims have been laid to rest. Normal, rational people would pay homage to the victims and acknowledge that no community should murder. No this group. They lashed out and Joe pandered. Just when you think the gag factor cannot possibly rise any higher, Joe finds a way.

In his most twisted pander yet, the Jewish, Puerto Rican, Irish and Greek Oval Office Resident, didn’t actually claim, himself, to be transgender. That’s a shock. When his Dad was saying, “it’s simple, Joey, they love each other.” His Dad could have said, “Joey, if you were born in the wrong body, you could be a girl.” His Dad was soooo forward thinking. Read Joe’s full proclamation here. These paragraphs are of particular interest:

Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul — proudly serving in the military, curing deadly diseases, holding elected office, running thriving businesses, fighting for justice, raising families, and much more. As kids, they deserve what every child deserves: the chance to learn in safe and supportive schools, to develop meaningful friendships, and to live openly and honestly. As adults, they deserve the same rights enjoyed by every American, including equal access to health care, housing, and jobs and the chance to age with grace as senior citizens. But today, too many transgender Americans are still denied those rights and freedoms. A wave of discriminatory State laws is targeting transgender youth, terrifying families and hurting kids who are not hurting anyone. An epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, in particular women and girls of color, has taken lives far too soon. Last year’s Club Q shooting in Colorado was another painful example of this kind of violence — a stain on the conscience of our Nation.
My Administration has fought to end these injustices from day one, working to ensure that transgender people and the entire LGBTQI+ community can live openly and safely. On my first day as President, I issued an Executive Order directing the Federal Government to root out discrimination against LGBTQI+ people and their families. We have appointed a record number of openly LGBTQI+ leaders, and I was proud to rescind the ban on openly transgender people serving in the military. We are also working to make public spaces and travel more accessible, including with more inclusive gender markers on United States passports. We are improving access to public services and entitlements like Social Security. We are cracking down on discrimination in housing and education. And last December, I signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law, ensuring that every American can marry the person they love and have that marriage accepted, period.
