Movie Theater The Fourth Kind

Re: The Fourth Kind

Looks pretty entertaining I'll probably netflix it though I get shifty when I'm surrounded by the general public.

Re: The Fourth Kind

Any word on whether or not Whitley Strieber has anything to do with this movie? Can't wait to see this, and some of the therepy scenes seem to reiterate things that he has stated.

Re: The Fourth Kind

Even if you don't believe in alien abductions, the movie is quite shocking. Worst of all, it uses archived footage from surveillance cameras and other recording devices to relay the point that there is something going on, and bad, in Nome, Alaska. It leaves you with the feeling of, "man, I hope someone is making this up, 'cause if they aren't, we could be screwed".

Great movie for the skeptic and the believer alike.

Re: The Fourth Kind

its funny how Nome really doesnt look remotely like it does in that movie
especially geographicly and but i would probubly blame all of the crazys and
alian stuff on the overwhelmingly high percentage of complete darelicts in that town.
and im sure they wont happen to have any of the darelict indians roming the streets.
but Mila Jovavich is hot though i might see it for the hell of it.

Re: The Fourth Kind

hah i just read the link Greg putt up
and i have to say i wasnt supprised in the least.
Allthough i dont think any amount of alchohol can
make me levitate but i think i might give it a try tonight.

Re: The Fourth Kind

sorry folks i lived in nome and it looks nothing like the movie, i have been thrown out of the board of trade saloon and the glue pot! first there are no trees for about 350 miles and even then the kotzebue national forest has a grand total of one tree! if people are dissappearing in nome its because they walked out into the winter weather and never came back! i flew all over western alaska at night and daylight never saw an alien though one time in ammonak i saw a yupik chick that could have passed for an alien! but thats another story.....

Re: The Fourth Kind

I saw this thread before seeing the movie, I rented it tonight. I do not recall however seeing or clicking on Greg's link, so I must have seen this thread before he posted it. I'm glad i managed to see this movie before looking into the movie's validity because it freaked me the fuck out. It was awesome. Knowing what i obviously now know, I wonder if I would have the same reaction to the movie if I'd done a little research before hand. Doesn't matter now, but I give it 2 thumbs way up.

Re: The Fourth Kind

I love these kinds of movies and to tell you the truth the "real" footage (whether real or not) made me get a nice shiver. I thought the split screens were going to get annoying but it really helped drive the point. That was crazy. Loved this flick.
