Anyone read this book?

I realize it could be under the theatre forum but this is a pretty important book.

If you are a cop, this sh ould be a MANDATORY reading, as well as females....or anyone after that.

He talks a lot about how a woman standing, turning, saying "No, I can handle this myself" and being a bitch can actually dissuade a would-be rapist.

And how bad guys work their ways into a womans apartment.

And how cops get complacent and walk into dangerous situations.

Damn good book.

It was given to me by my Butokukan Sensei for making Black Belt (In Shotokan)...

If you like to read, go on travel a lot, get the book.

I will say chapter 1 is a bit irritating and it is apparant that he is an anti-gun person but there's none of that in the book after his opinion. It's not a political agenda, it's just a book that could save your life by being aware of intuition and danger signs.

Good read.

Not sure how a guy with the facts like Becker can be so anti, but I suppose it's no different then scientists not believing in God when they have the most proof.

Book is worth a read though, I enjoyed it for the most part.
