The "Man" looses one!

In what universe?

The same universe that one fires a round into the passenger side mirror as Ryan Payne stuck both hands out the window in a surrender position just immediately prior to opening the door to give up.

The same universe where it is deemed a good idea to set up the ambush just behind the apex of an icy curve after a long straight stretch - so as to ensure that Finicum built up a good head of speed, thereby narrowing his options.

The same universe that made it seem prudent to start dumping rounds into the top of the cab as they came to a rest in the snow bank, so as not to hit the officers who were just behind the apex.

The same universe where it OK for Fed to lie under oath to the citizens and the court about what happened that day

Yeah, it may be that universe, but that don't mean that I got's t' like it.

Right?

Lavoy got what he deserved.

Lots of bait in this thread fellas. Just saying. One of the crybabies is gonna squeal.

In other news. Lavoy Finecum was murdered. Anyone that actually watched the videos in high def, and can come to any other conclusion is a fucking moron.
You DONT thumb your nose at the king or his men.
Your last sentence lost me. Who is the king? (Real question/not sarcastic)

Yup lots of bait here. I’ve been in bars in Texas were banditos and allied colors would frequent. Other than any alleged partaking of any potentially illegal substances, I did nothing I wouldn’t do with a friendly guy in blue. I’ve eaten at a twin peaks in Texas. I’m always armed in public. It’s a little troubling to think how easily I (a law abiding citizen for the most part) could have been involved in something like this. It’s also alarming to think that I’d be shot by Leo just for defending myself in just about any active shooter situation, yet Leo aren’t there quick enough and won’t take a bullet for me. Anyone that takes a life needs to be accountable. We hold soldiers more accountable than cops right now. Even for incidents years ago...

Oh. Ok.
Then in that case, I’m a fucking moron. But that’s ok, I been called much worse.
Now if this is the part where we all get puffed up and try to convince each other ther’re wrong then
lets just skip to the end where nobody’s mind is changed and my blood pressure is normal. Ok?

Sounds good.
Did you see my post in Maggie’s ?
No cuffs, but damn!
Titled; Shameful 2A civil rights violation
Just went and found it! It might raise my blood pressure instead of lowering it but damn that’s a good one. I guess when we start getting out of hand we must remind ourselfs what we can agree on.. cops should all be pretty young topless women. That would help all departments reach their ticket quota too..

Oh the outrage.

I feel for the poor vanilla didn’t dus.

Y’all won’t even put out half the outrage of the chocolates.

We aren't stupid enough to think burning down our own neighborhood will accomplish anything.

Vanilla's as you put it aren't quite pissed off enough yet.
Vanillas don't burn down neighborhoods, they balkanize and form countries.

Those are the differences, but what about the similarities. Both groups are rallying behind their own shit stains who Couldn’t act right and were shot.

If that was your convenience store wouldn’t you have shot Michael brown? Similarly if that was your café would you not of fired into the crowd? I mean come on there was a picture of a hi point and a kel tec on the ground, what kind of up standing citizen owns those?

Perhaps both “victims “ should have utilized a healthy dose of act right. Mr brown could be eating some kfc right now. The biker shits could be riding their gloried brigs and Stratton pieces of ohv bull shit down the road pretending the output was approaching 200hp/L.

What do you ride? I'm lookin at getting my 1st road bike soon. Raced mx most of my teenage years and as a kid but no experience with road bikes, I wanna get a 600 tho, any recommendations? Start with a 500 or something a bit slower like that?

Only dirt bikes for me. Ktm 250sxf bit the dirt in the fall and have been in the midst of a unending remodel so have held off. Previously ktm 525, husaberg fe550, and some xrs.

If i was you I’d get some leathers , what ever bike you wanted used, take all the bs off, put on some sliders and take it to the track. And stay away from cities, deer, dogs, fence posts, guard rails, and trains et al.

My first bike was a Belinelli 60.
I currently own a few collectables.
They are Ossa's, Husqvarna's, Macio's,Pentons along with a stable of Yamaha's of every year since the early 70's
I was around when WERA was founded and raced Ninjas and FZR'S when we got tired of motorcycles with a brick and a hole in it for a carburetor.
But for you to make a bullshit comment about 200Hp Harley's tells me you're pretty young and snobbish.
Here's 129 inches that I'll give to you if you have the balls to ride it up on the cam and keep it there through all 6 gears
PS, that bike is probably older than you.

Comments were more directed to the general asshattery of those involved in the shoot out.

Those bikes are too nice for me and I am too conscious of Newton’s 1st and 2nd.

Out of curiosity how much does that weigh and how much power?

Raven, that offer open to others????? :D

And is that a Merch engine?

my 17 Road Glide can rip wheelies through 3rd gear and beat any sport bike in a 1/8th mile drag race. 125 HP/126 tq before 2500 RPM. My BMW S1krr can do right at 200 and pumps right at 200 hp,, My dirt bikes can out ride just about any other dirt bike ever made. 19 -KTM 300 TPI, 19 KTM 450 XCF, 18 R6 is just a joy to torment cops and old fudd assholes with.

Your comment was viewed as broad blanket statement.
Most 1% I know have some pretty fast sleds.
That one above weighs around 400 Lbs, I never felt the need to dyno it but I've been riding since 1970 and have owned many bikes,it's by far the fastest V-Twin I've ever ridden.(the only thing Harley is the speedometer)
It does two things well, goes fast in a straight line and stops.
When I was still able to ride daily I would go through a set of floor boards a year on my Ultra Classic's.
It doesn't have to be a crotch rocket to be able to ride twistys

I can out run them all, on foot. For 9’.

My pap rides a Harley. We used to go to the Harley drags in Reynolds every year.. LOL talk about a place for a 10-11-12-13 year old kid, I saw more titties than you could imagine. If ya never been, think Mardi Gras, every chick you go past holler out "BEADS! I GOT BEADS!" and they all lift their shirt up. Had a few DD girls stuff my face in their tits. It was like a whole nother world lol. Those Harley dudes know how to party, good god. Me and my older brother's friend ended up on the back of this golf cart one time and got taken wayy out in the woods to this super sketchy Hells Angels party/bonfire, that was scary as fuck they ran us off basically at gunpoint. I thought they was gone kill the dude that drove us there, hell they might have for all I know...never saw em again. Some of them Harleys are pretty fast, dont get confused. I just like sport bikes better.

Anyhow, I still love riding off road. Really wanna get a KTM 300 2 stroke, or maybe a 250. But I want a road bike more at this point. Only thing that scares is getting head shake at 70+mph. Is that something you gotta worry about on road bikes? I topped out my YZ 125 one time and got head shake, bit the dust HARD and its been a worry in the back of my mind ever since..

OHV meaning "Overhead Valve".. ie a pushrod cylinder head design. Like what small block, big block, etc good ol American muscle V8's use.. or in this case Harley V-twins.
Also, yessir thats the 300 I'm talking bout. I wish KTM would do a motocross version tho, I've read the 300 really don't make any more power than the 250SX, just more torque down low..

Push rod motors are fine, Holiday is the most reliable bike I ever owned and I own many and ride 35 k per year, is the most reliable bike period.... anyone that says different doesn't lay down real miles.

As far as asshats, I dont judge :)

Absolutely, SOHC/DOHC engines have their place in certain types of racing. But when it comes to making all-out power, well, I don't know of any SOHC/DOHC car motors capable of this..

LOL looks like the camera is just about to be sucked into the turbos... jeeezz

ETA: Note the dyno graph, power is still climbing all the way to redline. Meaning they ain't run outta turbo yet, there's still room to turn the boost even higher and make more power! They're getting close to Top Fuel #'s..

Well I just consulted two experts in the matter. Who you ask? None other than tray von Martin and Michael Brown’s mothers. We talked about this very thread on snipershide. Both women assured me that the bikers were sitting there minding their own business and some of them were even just turning their life’s around. She said they were just sitting there eating their tossed salads drinking waters and generally acting like upstanding patrons. Very similar in fact to how their sons were when they were shot down by police.

At this point in the conversation I asked the ladies about differences in between the three situations. At this point Miss Martin‘S demeanor changed. She went from teary-eyed to having a voice which sounded just like the worlds most interesting man. She told me “ The jeep , Trevon didn’t ride a motorcycle but if he did it would be A Suzuki Hayabusa. With an extended swingarm 6 feet long and a minimum turning radius of 14 feet.

I shook my head in disbelief. I said Miss Martin why not a Harley. She looked me square in the eye , as we were on Skype , and said “ even African American teenagers with little to no rolemodels, understand the importance of dohc!

I said really! She said yes that more than likely people that rode Harleys probably also drive GM vehicles. She said it was a damn shame that GM had castrated their line of pick up trucks with the implementation of independent front suspension.

This point in time we all three shook our heads and laughed.

FWIW I wouldn't want a Harley or any big heavy V-twin bike even if it was the only option out there(well I might could make do if it was the ONLY option - I've seen many vids of some badass dudes back in the 40's-50's that used Harleys and such for off road hill climbing, you gotta be a lil nutty to do that tho LOL). Honestly I think sport bikes are safer too if you don't ride like a idiot(lighter, better brakes, easier to handle/avoid a wreck). I want a Kawasaki ZX-6, though I may start with something a bit tamer like Kawasaki's 650cc 2cyl Ninja or similar, still fast and fun but not too much for a novice. And once I can outride what thats capable of then move up.
When it comes to BIG power tho, the turbos(or supercharger) pretty much take over and block/head/bottom end strength become wayy more important than OHV vs SOHC/DOHC. It ain't like the big block stuff can't run like a DOHC either - the NHRA Pro Stock 500 cubic inch big blocks rev past 11,000 rpm. Like I said before, I don't really have a preference, I just want whatever performs best. Theres some awesome super fast Supras, GTR's, Lambo's, etc out there, but at the fastest/most powerful level, its Hemi's and big block Chevys that rule the track:

I doubt a 4000-5000hp Pro Mod will ever be in my budget tho unfortunately, so once I get the money eventually, and the ability to ride such, I definitely plan on doing a wicked fast bike.. something like this:

Can't imagine what that things capable of, they obviously must be bringing in the boost progressively(ie 12psi in 1st gear, 18psi 2nd gear, 24pi 3rd gear, so on..), else it would just blow the tire off or wheelie outta control.

Those extended swingarm busas may not be impressive in the twisty canyons but they pretty much rule the drag strip.. and going in a straight line for a 1/4 mile aint as easy as one might think if you have something thats actually fast, much less be competitive against other dudes who are just as fast/faster...

On a related note tho - my personal dream bike:

Absolute perfection. Wish someone would come out with another 4cyl 2 stroke sport bike. Imagine a 4cyl 1000cc 2 stroke... lol on 2nd thought that'd probably just be a death machine.

Even my 83 Suzuki gsx1100 could pop the front tire up in any gear. It had 6 of em. And it was a sit up cruiser. How much power can you use? Eventually you won’t have a big enough tire or enough ass to get traction. I suppose I might have had issues before the military from my only transportation being a motorcycle for my first few years driving, in and around Houston traffic. Now I play safer and ride snow machines on lakes and rivers close to break up.
