The New Lehigh Defense Manufacturing Facility is Fully Operational In NE Texas

Yeah, I saw this yesterday. Hopefully I’ll see some .308 max expansion bullets soon. I’ve been wanting to try those in some subsonic .300 blk loads.

We have to stop with the "move to copper and leave lead behind," bullshit.

Lead toppling will likely lead to the end of individual firearm use and thus, ownership.

They mention lead ammo bans in California and other states.

Guess what, California and Washington have COPPER bans on the books already, contaminating the drinking water...

How long do you think it will be before they expand that to ammo? And then, because other states follow suit, copper ammo is banned nationwide.

We let lead fall, individual firearm use and ownership falls.

Can't see it surviving, as copper goes next, then, then, then ...

Table salt can kill you in the right concentration: "What is the lethal amount of table salt? Relatively modest doses of sodium have been reported to cause fatality. In two children, the lethal dose was estimated to be less than 10 g of sodium (less than five teaspoons of salt) and the lethal dose was estimated to be less than 25 g sodium in four adults (less than four tablespoons of salt)."

So use copper bullets, but this acceptance of lead going bye bye, should be avoided at all costs.

I agree with the general sentiment, but you're railing at the wrong people.

Lehigh's advancements of some bullet technologies have little or nothing to do with avoiding lead, and they've been around for quite a while now. This is just about a new facility they have. They do some pretty cool stuff and are worth looking into.

Those are a great bullet. I've been switching to the 198gr controlled fracturing recently, and really like what they do. They're also available from Midway right now. I was just loading some for 300 Blk today in fact; 7.4gr of LilGun is perfect in my rifles.
