I've been wanting a .223 bolt gun. Picked up a 700 ADL at a good price and had every intention of leaving it as-is for a while. Got it home, took it out of the stock to paint it, and then my plan failed. Drove down the road to Mile High Shooting and picked up an AICS for it. Ordered a 20 MOA Weaver rail, 10x SS scope, and she now sits like this:
I still need to chop the barrel and have it threaded for my can but I'm happy with how it turned out. Despite grossly exceeding my original budget, I picked everything up for great prices.
