Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November. All the rest have 31, Except for February....... WHY

So my Nerd Brain understands the need for a Leap Day.... but why do we have months with 31 days...... 4 with 30 days......


and February only has 28 Days?????


Why not shorten a couple of the 31 day months and add 2 days to February.....

Has some thing to do with mythology. Some god took days away from February to put days on the month(s) the god liked.
