This a good rifle?

Is this a fairly priced and good rifle for out to about say 1600 tops?
I'd probably want to cut barrel down to 18" but other then that.
An hdmr scope would probably go on top.

The components seem solid, but I can't speak for the price. Why would you try to run an 18" barrel on a 300 WM? It kind of defeats the purpose.

I agree on barrel chop. Id leave it be. Your gonna need that barrel to get to 1600

Well I can speak to the price--it's what the seller represents it to be, that number is about what those components would cost you. I do agree with the other poster, a 24" barrel is what I would want (at minimum) for a 300 WM.

Seems like a great deal if it shoots "lights out". Ask the seller how it shoots and go from there...

Find out who put the rifle together. Excellent components but the guy that threaded and chambered could make it or break it. I'd also ask for pictures of groups.
