Yep, considering I was never able to get one SIDE of a damn Rubiks cube. Maybe I should buy a new one and see if I got smarter in the intervening 30yrs. Probably a bad idea, as I'm sure I still can't do it and would end up throwing the thing against the wall or using it as a reactive target.
Thanks Bro, you made me feel better about not having ever figured out the Rubiks because I did in fact figure out that playing with pink parts was much more fun that stupid puzzles
Google "How to solve a Rubik's cube." There is a system. You don't have to be especially smart, but merely practice the movements. Once you get good at it, it is a bit like dancing- you just do it. If you are thinking about it, you are doing it wrong- which is, ironically, a lot like playing with those pink parts...
VERY true Sir. However, now that I've established how much I like playing with pink parts, I'm doubting the Rubiks could compare. Maybe BEFORE I'd discovered women I would have had a chance. Although, if I had studied both the Rubiks AND Women for the past few decades, I'm pretty sure I would have eventually figured out the Rubiks. I don't know that I have enough time left on this Earth to figure out women, which is probably a good thing since women understand women.....and they fucking hate each other.
but dudes for the most part know dudes and we for the most part don't hate each other......well unless its one of those hippy tree hugging constitution hating ass holes but than we don't understand those dudes!!
I'm using that exact same Logitech wireless mouse as I type this right now! Are those cubes normally suppose to rotate that smoothly? All the ones I tried felt like they were caked in molasses! Love that 2x2 one. Sadly, all I could ever get ahold of were the 3x3 ones.
Those are probably tricked out race cubes. Imagine, entire forums where "enthusiasts" debate; the merits of 4x4 vs 5x5 cubes, robustness and reliability, precision and accuracy of the movements, durability under competition conditions, "what's the best color for...," etc. Yeah, the nerds...
