    I think that they put their tongue between their teeth because they have not been trained not too. Like other important life activities, if you want to be good at fighting you need a good trainer.

    Incentive to be good at not getting hit. LOL. I learned a tough lesson once and broke a piece of tooth off in my lip in wrestling practice. Same basic problem, just tended to bite my lip instead of tongue. I think I started doing it weight lifting. Another good reason to keep your mouth piece in.

    The fucking police have all the evidence to arrest him: video of the crime, his name, where he worked, and what he looks like. Finding out where he lives is dead fucking easy from there.

    I am rather surprised that no one on her side didn't jump on the guy and beat him like a rag doll. A good ass kicking is a better lesson than anything he sees through charges....unless he is sentenced but he won't be

    This shit happened in Toronto, guys. That poor woman probably doesn't know any men who will go and do what needs to be done. Men like that are scarce in urban Canada.

    Along the same lines, I'm sure there's probably a good number of Toronto Police Detective Constables that would like to arrest this motherfucker ASAP but I bet they are being held back by city government. Had the political bias of the victim and assailant been reversed you bet the cops would have been unleashed and told to make an arrest RFN.

    As for the lady fighting back, won't ever happen. Urban Canadians simply have little concept of what street violence actually looks and feels like. Just listen to her:

    looking at him I'd guess he's never been in a fight in his life. Probably on the receiving end of a punch or two for being an asshole, but otherwise he seems like a wuss.

    Also, I absolutely believe that he meant to kick the phone and not the woman. In his mind it was a simple thing to do, but a complete lack of physical exercise/conditioning EVER means that his body is in no way prepared to deliver an accurate kick.

    I don't think jail time is necessary, but he should definitely be charged and fined...

    But it's horrible to carry around some purpose made batton to beat people with and/or to beat them with it.....
    Sometimes laws are kind of crazy but that's what it is... Deadly force or none at all...

    Some states don't allow citizens to carry things like the Asp baton. But there is no ordnance against carrying an oak stock cane that has black iron reinforcements in the bottom 4" of it. The black iron has the same effect as a lead weight, or a piece of rebar concealed within it. Not only can you strike with it, you can also trap, arm bar, and hook with it.

    To me the cocksucker gave a lot of clues that he was going to attack, bringing his arms up as he did and rocking back and getting rounded out like he was going to kick one of those phony boards in some DoJo, then letting go. Read the signs!
    Had I been there and able to lay hands on him before he ran, I would have stomped a mudhole in his ass then stomped it dry.
    If he ran imediatly after doing it, I would be SOL as I am not fast on my feet anymore but GTG close in.

    Judging all Canadians by the actions of a Toronto fairy is like judging all Americans by the actions of a lisper from SF.

    I do not agree about Canadians in general. I spent a lot of time in Alberta, BC and NWT years ago. Plenty of tough folks in central and western Canada.

    I also recall an incident in Europe at a place called Vimy Ridge. Never underestimate a group of real Canadians.

    In my opinion that doesn't rise to the level of violence that someone should be locked up for. Was it stupid/negligent/assinine? Absolutely, but we've become such a nanny-state that we're running to the police and trying to get someone jailed because someone was essentially bumped??

    Fine him, charge him, and give him something on his criminal record, but jail time is silly in my opinion.

    I didn't say he shouldn't be held accountable, I said what he did (in my opinion) doesn't rise to the level that requires jail time.

    Well, we will agree to disagree. I think jail time should be had in ALL cases of intentional assault. I am not quantifying what jail time means.

    Your last sentence is comparing an apple to an orange. There is a big difference in hitting and saying harsh words to a person. If we cannot/do not differentiate the two then that explains why we are where we are.

    The only thing that will stop violence is strong punishment, greater violence or the threat of greater violence. Punishment seems less likely everyday. This means violence becomes more likely. The U.S. Constitution guarantees the Right of "Peaceful Assembly". What the left is doing is not always "Peaceful Assembly".

    Threats and intimidation are not Protected Rights. We are watching Communism/Socialism play out before our eyes. It is Ugly too.
