This LEO is LUCKY!

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

Cops are stupid wastes of taxpayer money. That pig shouldnt have even been there. Had she stopped that fine, upstanding young B/M, she'd just have been profiling "black guys with a gun" anyway - a violation of his civil rights and 2nd rights.

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

Rookie officer on training answering a 911 call while her trainer waited in the car. He said he didn't off her because she didn't appear to be a threat.

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

I must say i agree there are many situations that can and will happen at any given time so for one tell me any of you if per say you were a ccw carrier would have instantly spotted this crime and just started blazing away i think not. As for the trainee that's exactly the point in training and yes were all glad she's safe. I also don't appreciate disrespectful comments about Leo's because how safe do you think you'd be if there was none let me guess you were all born rambos and would always come out on top highly unlikely.and yes i am a LEO who is basically still in training and nobody's perfect so show some respect or no one will show you any.

Whatever time it took you to type that was wasted. I'm just saying, and look around and you'll know what I mean.

I don't think you are getting what HC is saying.

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

Glock, no disrespect intended here brother, but what the guys are trying to tell you is that probably 90% or more of the people who have responded to this thread are all veteran LE officers with their sarcasm mode "on". However, you are new to the Hide so you probably haven't had a chance to get to know alot of the guys yet. Most of us know EXACTLY what you are saying and agree!! Ease up bro!!
Regarding the video, she was VERY lucky indeed!! Thankfully, nobody got hurt and she was able to go home at the end of her shift. I can see how she missed what was going on. Its tough being "ON" all the time. Easier said than done!!

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

<-------------Chad is right....ease up a bit and don't get worked up so much. Welcome to law enforcement as well.
With what information they had and the angle she had on approach it would appear nothing was wrong and the shithead was any other customer paying for his items.

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

BTW...I am better looking than Rambo and have more experience. I served 3 tours in the Poontang Valley....I was knee high in bush. I also fought some bloody battles in the Valley of Tampon.

You didn't "waste time," you just overreacted to a couple comments offered on the internet completely in jest. The misunderstanding has already been explained to you - why not admit you jumped to a wrong conclusion, laugh it off, and enjoy the site? It's a great place - but definitely not for the overly sensitive you will find.

Re: This LEO is LUCKY!

Without knowing the full story, it's hard to make a judgment.
It could be that the cashier was buying the gun on a layaway plan from the young man and was making his final payment.

When the cop walked in, the presumed innocent citizen feared that the police may misconstrue the situation and suspect an armed robbery was in progress, thereby endangering himself, the cashier, and possibly others in the store.
Therefor, he attempted to conceal the weapon and walk out, planning to complete the transaction at a later time.

The police woman is obviously a regular customer of the convenience store and the cashier likely knows her. He probably said, "That was Lafanso. He's the guy I was telling you about. The one with the great deals on cheap pistols."
The cop, looking for a great deal on a pistol, ran after Lafonso.

.
My guess would be this isn't ole boys first time doing this, handy way to remain inconspicous to a passerby or customer just walking into the store. Anyone know what happened next?
