Not necessarily, if the good citizens decide they want the firemen to respond or EMS to show up, they will by necessity make an "arrangement" with those they wish to provide protection. Which will probably come down to a bunch of guys enjoying hanging out with guns and shooting anyone that bothers them. The fire and EMS folks may decide to do a bit of their own protection work if the gloves are truly off.

Not surprised there. My last trip to Austin was I think in 2015 for a concert. I stayed north of town since it was cheaper . I keep threatening to go to the F-1 Race but still haven't made it. Austin had all the right elements to go snowflake and it appears it's getting arctic cold.

I think Texas is about to go full left. My Texas buddies say not going to happen, I say how can it not? Illegals, kalifornians, all the failed US states people fleeing to Texas. Personally I don't want my current state importing anybody. Period.
