REMAIN VIGILANT

It wasn't in a war,
It wasn't in a battle,
It isn't in a melee of fire and destruction that most of us succumb to weakness.
We are taken apart, slowly.
Convinced to take an easier path.
Enticed by comfort.
Most of us aren't defeated in one decisive battle.
We are defeated one tiny, seemingly insignificant surrender at a time that chips away at who we should really be.
It isn't that you wake up one day and decide that's it: I am going to be weak.
No. It is a slow incremental process.
It chips away at our will--it chips away at our discipline.
We sleep a little later.
We miss a workout, then another.
We start to eat what we shouldn't eat and drink what we shouldn't drink.
And without realizing it--one day, you wake up and you have become something that you never would have allowed.
Instead of strong--you are weak.
Instead of disciplined--you are disorganized and lost.
Instead of moving forward and progressing--you are moving backward and decaying.
And those things happen without you seeing them.
Without you recognizing them.

So.
You have to BE VIGILANT. You have to be ON GUARD.
You have to HOLD THE LINE on the seemingly insignificant little things -- things that shouldn't matter -- but that DO.

I had to stop reading that article because it was so steeped in bull shit. The author has intentionally left out everything that has happened since Trump was elected. That was convenient since it did not fir his narrative. His statement about ANTIFA being a weak organization is laughable and intentionally misleading. Groups of weak animals can still inflict a lot of damage on individuals.

Agreed but the left has the narrative that appears to be selling. They are getting their voices heard by mainstream Joe America. WE are being portrayed as the threat when it is the left that is doing everything to incite a violent confrontation.

Damn your logic and rational!! I think that is the case for two simple reasons - the political leaning of the MSM and it is easy being a liberal. It takes very little mental power to be a liberal. Everyone that thinks differently is the devil, hates ethnic groups/women/poor people and is a racist. You do not have to figure out how things work or how to improve yourself - that is for someone else to sort out.

Look at Flake. I think his treason was with full malevolent knowledge and pre-meditation but we are being led to believe he was cowed into his vote for investigation and it is his sincere hope that he will heal the political rift.

Lets suspend reality for a moment and just believe Flake did this in hopes the democrats would begin a civil dialogue.

While its easy to see the rabid leftists as the up front threat right now, keep an eye on the extreme right, too. Remember that both extremes are more than happy to keep the patriot act recharged from time to time. That goes for the NSA, TSA, IRS, or any alphabet agency that either side can weaponize for their extreme ideology.
