I am going to have my rifle threaded for a break. It is a 7wsm. I want a thread on break that I can time and lock like a badger or something similar. Are their others like it that I should consider? Is the difference between 284 and 308 going to matter if I do get badger?
Thanks,
T

I run a RAD brake and it's very effective and quick to install...

Todd,

Another +1 for the RAD Rapid Brake.

I own both, R&D on my .308 and the FTE on my .338 LM.

If you want to look at the difference in them, let me know when you are over this way. You can see both up close.

To answer your question, a .308 bore brake will be effective for your application. Again, have both on hand if you'd rather look before you make your mind up on one or the other.
