HELP.....really
I've called Savage arms and the info I get is somewhat WORTHLESS....grrrrrrrrr

I have a Savage Striker, stainless, 308, Repeater pistol.....

It has a muzzle brake on the end...I have successfully removed the brake.

At first I was told the thread were 5/8's x 24 perfect for my Suppressor.

I tried my Suppressor...the Suppressor threading was too wide..the threaded muzzle slid in and out ....

Then I thought my Outback 2 Suppressor 1/2x24 might work....the Suppressor female port was too small. Threaded muzzle would not fit....

I called GEmtec ..... no clue

CAN ANY ONE HELP...I need to get an adaptor.....

direct email is: mminariksr at cox dot net

THANKS in ADVANCE

0.578"x28TPI is a common thread size for larger-calibre handguns like .45s. It could be the yours is like this, especially as 1/2 (0.5) and 5/8 (0.625) are on either size out of spec.

Another guess would be 9/16x28. I saw a guy with a Holland's brake on his and the only size that seems to fit your description that brake comes in is 9/16". Just do the measurements to be safe.
