Hey everyone.
I'm new on the site, so the search is a little difficult to use. I want to put a can on a recently purchased FN PBR, however the barrel is not threaded. Is is possible to do this post production without hurting the rifle's performance? Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I honestly never would have guessed that. I guess the next rookie questions is how much something like that runs? And the most likely answer would be go to the local gunsmith and ask them?
Sorry for the dumb questions, but as stated, new to the bolt action game.
Thanks!

most here would probably say stay away from the local gunsmith and send the barrel to one of the guys on here or some other companies that will be recommended.

Call John @ Area 419 Firearms. He hooked me up. Top notch work and a good dude. He's a member here too. You'll have to catch him when he's not doing yard work!!!!Good luck and good shooting!

My local gunsmith charged $95 to thread my AR10 barrel. That included a thread protector from Brownells. It actually shoots better with the can attached.
