Throat Cleaning

What is the best method for cleaning the carbon out of the throat on a Remington 700.

If there is a buildup of carbon in the throat get some bore paste eg. JB Bore Cleaner, Iosso, etc.
Take a bronze brush that has been used in your rifle a number of times and wrap a new patch around it. Then coat the patch with bore paste. Run it back and forth in the first 7 or 8 inches of the barrel where it gets carboned up the most.
I do this approx. every 500+ rounds.
