Throat Erosion from seating depths???

Wasn't sure if this was the right place to ask but here it is anyway!

Does where your seating takes place also effect on how fast the throat can erode, such as jamming them VS jumping, and if so which way would cause it to erode faster??

Seating depth has no bearing on throat wear as heat is the culprit.

Thanks William, I figured it this way...seating in the lands obviously creates more pressure and I would think more heat?? Maybe not enough to affect the throat though... While letting them jump reduces all the above.

Trimming the cases correctly to that specific chamber will help squeeze a little more life out of the chamber.

The pressure and heat is what erodes the throat.

If you load, be it jammed and still shooting within normal pressure levels should not generally create added wear.
