I have been researching suppressors for a while and have finally decided its time to get a form 4 in line and start waiting.
The only suppressor I have any experience with is an AAC-SD that was on an AR15 and I had the opportunity to fire a few shots through it. I first started looking at the AAC 762SDN-6 for its versatility but the 51 tooth mounting system has me nervous and I think I would be better suited with a can geared more toward precision rifles. The great reviews I have read about the Thunder Beast suppressors and their 10% off deal have me almost convinced.
My plans are to use my first suppressor on a Remington 700 30/06 for deer hunting, a Remington 700 AAC-SD .308 for deer hunting and target shooting, a Remington 700 .22-250 for target shooting and the occasional critter, and also on a couple ARs in 5.56 that are mostly range toys but may get some hunting use later.
I understand the titanium Thunder Beasts are not for rapid semi-auto fire and I can live with that(good excuse for a second can later). My 30/06 is a sporter weight barrel and would need 9/16" threads but I'm dieing to have a heavier contour 24" barrel installed so I have a decision to make here. The .308 is 5/8" thread and ready. The .22-250 is a varmint contour and I could get it threaded 1/2" or 5/8". The ARs are all 1/2". Where I have 2 or possibly 3 different sizes to deal with would I be better off with the 30BA and a couple brake sizes or just stick with the 30P1 and thread adapters. I am not a big fan of loud muzzle brakes or the $135 each price tag but could live with it.
This is my first post but I have been reading here for years. I look forward to your opinions and I am open to any suggestions. Thank You, MBanning

Wow! 10 min after posting the guy that makes the cans replies. Thanks Zak, I have heard nothing but great reviews for Thunder Beast. Get started on mine, I will have an order in by next week.
Consolidating at 5/8 is the best, but otherwise you're on the right track with the 30BA. For adapting to multiple different thread patterns, it's the way to go.

I just recently started the process for my Thunderbeast. I have seldom dealt with a company that was as "on-the-ball" as they are. I e-mailed through their contact info on the web site.....a very short time later I had a response. I asked a few questions via e-mail...prompt replies...placed my order. The can was done ahead of quoted "delivery"...another contact from them to verify Form 4 info. A few days later my form 4 shows up with a detailed list of how to complete it...couple of days later a follow up phone call to insure I had received the paper work and to see if I had any questions. I now have the ridiculous wait time ahead of me. Many thanks, specifically to Amanda, and the rest of the Thunderbeast crew for such a well run business.

I paid for my Thunderbeast last Dec. 1st and finally got it after waiting 7 months. Had the barrel threaded by GAP and got to shoot it in a match 2 weeks ago. Couldn't be more pleased. While sighting in my rifle I was able to shoot a 1 1/2" group at 400 yards which is as good a group as I was getting at 200 yards before. I also ungraded my scope at the same time so that my have contributed to the better group but adding my 30 P1 sure didn't hurt my groups. Very pleased.
