Tikka 300 WM - bottom metal/mag upgrade

Has anyone had any experience upgrading to the mountain tactical or redsnake bottom metal/aics kits and how they do with longer handloads? I’m not unwilling to trim a little metal off my trigger assembly but that’s about the extent I’d go to. I’m happy shooting 180/200 grain bullets but if a cheap upgrade increases the versatility of my rifle I’m all for it, just don’t want to take the jump if it’s not really beneficial

I have the mount tactical bottom metal and the short 300 win mag aics magazine and you can load out to 3.65 overall length I believe. I will have to throw the caliper on it again to confirm. I went with an 8 twist carbon 6 prefit in 7mm rem mag to be able to load the 180 grain bergers long instead of 300win mag though for a hunting rig.

Thank you! Did you trim down the trigger assembly by chance? I did buy the Mountain Tactical bottom metal by the way, and now I'm intrigued - I kind of bought the rifle without knowing/researching the limitations of handloading for 300 wm (I'm just now getting into handloading). Can you get close to the lands w/ the 7mm mag? I will probably rebarrel soon anyway since i have a T3x lite and 1/11 twist.
