So I'm obsessed with getting a 16" barreled bolt gun in .223. Naturally, Tikka is pretty much my first choice (especially since the Howa 1500 compact hogue doesn't come in .223). Anyway, given that regardless of what model I get (CTR or Varmint....or even lite) I'd end of getting the barrel chopped, what is the thickness of their barrels at that length?
