Anyone have any advice on the above? I have a great shooter with a pretty nicked up stock that I am looking to replace. What have you all purchased and what do you recommend?

KRG X-Ray chassis. It's light and works very very well
My thinks I only have 3 guns
Check with Stockys Stocks on the B&C,they are great stocks for the money.
Amazing.. What caliber? What kinda Leupold?
7-08 I had chopped to 20" and had the bolt fluted by LRI. Arguably the most accurate factory rifle I own. Topped it with a VX3 3.5-10x40.
Just out of curiosity mate, what projectiles are you using with that rifle?
I use this rifle for a specific area I hunt mule deer only. That being said, it get's shot a few times a year. In the beginning, I intended to just shoot some factory ammo to build some brass. On a recommendation from a friend, I tried The 140gr Fusion ammo. It shot under a half inch with ES under 10 fps. I bought all the store had in that lot. I probably won't be reloading for it for a while now!
Ah nice, and good velocity with that projectile?
I'm considering getting a 7-08 as my non-magnum 7mm, but am strongly tempted to take the current tikka and rebarrel/restock to a .280AI.

Thanks for the info fellas, I may have to look into the 708 further. I'd like to run a heavier projectile though
