I was just thinking if I ever do a custom it'll be a T3. It's a crying shame they don't sell a reasonably priced heavy barrel starter rifle anymore. I hate Beretta.

For the record a T3 with a gain twist 6mm creedmoor Bartlein barrel in a KRG W3 Chassis and a TRG trigger would be awesome.

Up until my AX arrived at the house the Tikka was my most accurate rifle by far. I bought mine when they were selling the T3 Scout Compact Tactical Rifle, which was a heavy barreled $800 rifle in .308 Win. I haven't seen another one of those rifles since I bought mine four years ago. That rifle just shoots phenomenally for the price, and though I expect the AX to beat it, I think anyone would be hard pressed to beat the Tikka for the price.

I wouldn't mind running Tikka's Sporter version either! Ugly colored stock but it looks comfy as hell and has the thicker varmint style barrel. One of these days..
