Hi all,
Been mostly lurking here for a few months, but figured it was time to contribute. About a month ago I purchased a rifle listed in the classifieds from rwest. It's a .308 built off a Surgeon action by Tim Click. Certainly a better rifle than I am a shooter, but it really caught my eye. Anyway, I put a Vortex Razor on it; what Bobby calls "the Hubble", but it helps my eyes out!

This last trip to the range I shot Hornady Tap 168gr A-max, and was, to say the least impressed. Cold bore shot was right on the X, as were the next several. Below is a 3-shot group at 100 yds that measured 3/8" from edge to edge.

Moving to 200, the rifle continued to perform. I shanked one shot to the left, but had a 5-shot group 1" across (which could be better I'm sure), adjusted down .1 mil and shot the hole by the X.

Afterwards went right back to zero and every shot was dead on. Needless to say, I love this rifle (and scope: thanks Scott @ liberty!). Can't wait to stretch it out and improve my skills, obviously if it isn't hitting where I point it I know who to blame. I am thoroughly impressed with Mr Click's work and hope to have another rifle by him.

First off nice shooting and secondly, that is a really nice looking rifle and scope set-up. I have been really hankering for one of those Vortex's and when I save up the money I may have to pull the trigger. How do you like it?

The Razor is a fantastic scope. I've never had the opportunity to use a USO or S&B so I can't make that comparison, but have no issues at all with it's clarity, eye relief, sight picture, or tracking. It is by far the nicest scope I own and would recommend it to anyone.
