Hi all -
been reading for a few days and haven't been able to find an answer to my burning question: which direction for a mid-range scope?
I've topped my Savage 10FCP-HS with a Burris XTR 3-12. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I'm able to hold the same point of aim at distant targets (>300yds) with the current optics and want to step up to a better scope. The reality of my situation, though, is that dropping $1200+ on a new optic just isn't in the cards at the moment. I'm shooting at ~300 now and want to get to a point where I'm regularly shooting at 500+, eventually at 1000.
Any suggestions on which direction to go?
Thanx in advance!
