Can someone explain this Tavour to me? I’ve seen ads on my troll Spacebook account, and it’s got me intrigued.

Anyone else home brew? Maybe a SH edition home brew ale could be in the works?

You basically get marketed the kind of beers you like, and you can choose to order items that meet your tastes. You have no obligation to order any.

Now THAT is a wicked good idea!!!! Let's get some names going for our home-brewers!

Black Rifle Coffee Company is now a huge business. Clearly some enterprising brewer needs the first sniper-themed IPA!

1000 Yd IPA
Maggies Drawers DIPA
Rangecard

I mean... you know how many great manly snipery names there are to go with a great hoppy beer?

Awesome idea!!!

Got a fridge with nothing but +7 year old dogfishhead 120° in it. Living in the southeast, finding heady or pliny was a big deal. Sixpoint brewing in NY has some good east coast IPA’s, (Resin and Hi-Res) Bell’s brewing in MI has Hopslam which is good stuff. Cigar City Brewing in FL has Jai Alai and Hop Gun..
West Coast brewers do it better overall, but flavor profile comes down to which hops are used and how the brew is hopped, for how long, and at what point in the process so there is a lot of variation in IPA’s. If one is too hoppy or bitter for your palate, there is one that will suite your taste buds better.

Why bother? Never could understand the aura of greatness conferred on it by the VT hipsters.
Victory Hop Devil or the occasional Dirt Wolf FTW.

FWIW, no IPA for me tonight. Le Fin Du Monde is the order of the day.
Actually, the VT Hipsters don't touch the stuff. It gets bought by the over-priced gallon by flatlander hipsters who want to impress their friends.

Great beers (if you can get them) are Rock Art Limited Access... and Notch Hopper. In growlers... scary good! We have more breweries in VT than gas stations now. Heady Topper is what we sell to the tourists. There is more good stuff around than we know what to do with. Bakeries, too! And cheese. Now salami and cured meats. Very spoiled in VT when it comes to food. And beer.

Cheers,

Sirhr

I drink very little beer so don't know about beer and VT but the food choices in and around St. Albans, VT were really amazing.

I had a lot of fun at both of the hockey tournaments that were held there. Really interesting town

i already like the Maggie’s drawers dipa Idea. Galaxy hops and a high IBU/APV is doable.

Spot on. I get my delivery of local VT farm stuff every friday from the milkman. Yes I have one... and it's goddamn awesome in a very old-school way. They're starting beer deliveries, too... just win win, win.

Cold Bore Pilsner
Left Hand Gain Twist IPA
Try Dope Porter
Fundamentals Lager
Wimbledon ESB
Straight Taper Barrel Aged Match Grade Stout
I could do this for hours, someone else has to be the mash bitch though.

For new ipa drinkers having a hard time with the bitterness, double fist with a good czech pilsner, the flavor profile is complementary and the light body of the pils will wash down the ipa finish and cleanse your palate.

Who's going to be on Label design???

And do we have to get LL's permission for Snipers Hide Brewing Co? Or just pay him in beer?

Cheers,

Sirhr

Actually its a great idea. Will take some funding. Maybe we could do it among the members. Wouldnt even need our own brewery to start, have someone else make it for us and label it as we wish. Ive got $1000, not much but a beginning. Labels are cheap.

6.5 Creeedmoor

BTHP

308 Special Light

Spin D

Of course...TaDa...Fuck the Chinks Amber Ale

For the trademark, why not the one on the back of the Hoodies? Each one would need its own label.

I hope your home is fortified - you are sitting on gold. The 120 is about the only IPA I consider to be a great beer. In the IPA realm. That stuff is impossible to find. As is WWS. There are a few IPAs I can muster (90 and 60) but most IPA taste too harsh and with cheap hops.

I’ll stick to my stouts, porters, dry stouts and Belgian ales and the occasional wheat and Schwarzbiers.

Funny you mention that, there are 2 wws’s in that fridge as well. Currently have a 4 year vertical of ccb hunahpu imperial stout, 3 bottles per year.

I should probably be arrested and thrown away in a dungeon; but I found some WWS that I'd had since 2003/4 but had gone through a few heat cycles. I tossed it 3 years ago. I feel stupid now. I should have at least popped the top to see if it was still sealed. I bet that was unreal. Didn't even have the DFH logo on the cap.

That said, the Southern Tier stuff is also good as is the higher end (both price and gravity) Avery. DFH seems to have kind of lost it IMO.
