Minnesota is the white guilt capital of the Mid west . Back in the late 70's the Democrats here were worried about our lack of minorities and set up programs to get us some !
Those programs were very generous welfare and housing programs . Use to be 1st of every month had lots of out of state plates double parked out in front of the welfare office to pick up their money and stamps . They have switched to debit cards as food stamps were stigmatizing the welfare customers .
I don't know what the dollar amount in currently , But several years ago the average welfare recipient in Minnesota collect around 80k in benefits !
