Gunsmithing Timeny trigger question.

Can anyone give me an idea of the difference why one would use a Timney 510 VS a Timney 512? Obviouslyy the 512 is nickel plated, but does the nickel serve any better function. Thank you, Dave

I'm pretty sure that's the only difference. I have a 510 and never used the 512 but I've seen this conversation brought up plenty of times with no outcome other than nickel plating.

Nickel plated is often used with stainless actions for looks.
