That rifle was shot little (100yard work), since has been sold. Again this was years ago. I am thinking about using the trigger for a new build but don’t know anything about these older Timneys.

That will work fine if it fits your trigger weight needs. Looks like a 510 so should go down to 1.5 pounds. Plenty light enough for accurate fire.
Don't take this as sarcasm... Many of us here do the same thing....
I enjoy watching a man build a new weapon around one existing part... In this case, a very nice trigger.

Timney makes a decent trigger. Why not use it and decide if you want to replace later?
You attached to Alliance Outdoors? Had fun at their match last month. First time down there. Going to make it down more often when I can.
