Timney 510

Just recently picked up a Remington 700 .260 barreled action with a Timney 510 trigger. Don't know much about Timney but after adjusting the trigger pull screw counter clockwise it still feels very heavy. Is there a replacement spring for this or can I mess with the sear/over travel settings to lighten the pull?

(Im also running a jewell hvr on my other bolt that was set to 1.5lb by Jewell Triggers and I'm liking pull weight.)

I have a timney 510 and it can be adjusted very low. I haven't actually measured it, but it goes well below what I'm comfortable with. Maybe the one you got needs to be cleaned?

Either way, yes you can get replacement springs if you can't figure it out.

Timney 510 is a 1.5 to 4 lb trigger. Timmy will adjust it for you if you ask. Their service is top notch.
