Any one have one? I was thinking of getting one. I have the Wilson Combat on my AR-10 and I love it. But they cost about 70.00 more than I can get a timney for. I am not interested in a 2 stage. I just stuck my JP trigger kit on GB it was a little more than to fool with.

Love them. I bought one and then another for both my ARs. Very easy to install. All my bolt-gun buddies who use them say "that is an amazing AR trigger." They had a huge impact on accuracy as well, bringing my groups down from 1.0-0.75 to 0.75-0.5 minutes at 100yds.

I have two Timney 3lbs I got from Marsh1 (PRIMARY ARMS) the Reset is perfection,I dont see how it could be better,The Pull is a clean brake and the same everytime.

I Like the single stage over the two stage.

Re: Timney trigger for AR15

I have a 3lb solid on my M4. The curve of the trigger itself is much larger radius than normal, so it works better for me. The break is clean with almost unnoticeable creep. The reset is quick and repeatable, so double/triple taps are effortless and quick. I like the single stage for the carbine and 2-stage for the SPR and NM rifles.

Re: Timney trigger for AR15

Thanks for all the replies. Have not heard anything bad at all. I think I am going to get one and pass on another Wilson. I may kick myself in the ass later but I doubt it. I was thinking on 3# solid. I found one on GB for 189.00 delivered to Dallas TX. If there is a Hide member who can beat that deal let me know I would rather spend my hard earned cash with a nother member.

Outstanding quality for the money. I received mine today from MidwayUSA. They are running for about $209. Use the discount code and get $20 off.

Re: Timney trigger for AR15

I have a couple of them. The 4lb one failed after about 400 rounds. I would have to push it from the back to reset it. Then sometimes it would fire again when I did that.

Timney replaced it no problem, but I kind of lost some faith in them.

Re: Timney trigger for AR15

The Timney is a great drop in unit, take a look at the Chip McCormick unit as well, its in the same price range. My biggest issue with the drop-in units is trigger overtravel, they are a huge improvement over a factory trigger and don't require any adjustment, but they don't allow for any adjustment either.

Re: Timney trigger for AR15

I have the 3 lb. skeletonized units in three of my AR's. A 20" "long range" build, a 16" hunting build, and a 9mm build. I just put another 18" rifle together and went with the AR Gold two stage in this one.
Gotta say...I think the Timney is a better trigger for my use.

Take care,Stan

Shattered dreams... I saw the title, looked under it and saw where someone had posted "I have the three pound.." So I clicked on here thinking it was a 3#er for sale hahaha.

I got a skeletonized 3#er off of here recently for $185 and it is great. The cutout, skeletonized makes your gun about 5 pounds lighter than the regular one btw
