Re: TIS sling which one?
Since you asked specifically about TIS slings, I'll go a little more in depth in this reply.
1.
TIS Quick Cuff Obvious trait is the detachable arm cuff. You can leave the cuff around your arm and quickly detach it if needed. Some shooters have cuffs sewn to their shooting jacket, BDU sleeve etc.
2.
TIS Slip Cuff Is easiestly described as an updated version of the classic 1907 leather shooting slings. There is still an arm cuff like the Quick, but it is not detachable. The arm cuff is built into the front half of the sling and is pulled down onto your bicep.
3.
TIS Slip Cuff Quick Release Its the same as the TIS Slip Cuff, but with the addition of a QR buckle in the cuff section. This allows you to quickly get your arm out of the cuff if you "Gotta-Go".
4.
TIS Combo Cuff Is a combination of the Quick Cuff and Slip Cuff slings. It has the front half of a Qucik Cuff on one end, and the front half of a Slip Cuff on the other.
Photo shows the open loop of the Slip end and the buckle where the arm cuff would attach on the other.
All of the TIS slings come with changeable hardware so they can be moved to rifles with different styles of attachment. Hardware options at the time of purchase include: no swivels, HK/AI style hooks, push button quick release for use with Flush Cups and Talon Heavy Duty Swivels for use with standard factory sling studs.
As I said before, of the TIS slings, the Slip Cuff works the best for my needs on the range and in the field.
