Rifle Scopes To bed or not to bed.....

I have a Rem 700 Sendero that I am in process of doing some upgrading......so does bedding the recoil lug add more rigidity to action and improve barrel harmonics or it better to leave the lug free?

You're in the optics section. You may want to ask elsewhere but to answer your question it's not gonna make a dramatic difference that you will see. Torque it and shoot it is what I would do.

For a stock deal. Current action screw torque would be a start'n point.
It also depends on the stock's material.
