I was inspired by RK Simple's GAP 260 shooting out to a mile. So after target maintance (painting) today, I decided to take a few shots at the mile marker. Man was I floored. Had a small breeze at the base of about 5-7MPH, wind flag at the mile marker showed a tiny breeze coming right at me. I dialed dope up from my 300 yard zero and was almost dead on on elevation but about 3 feet left. Adjusted right and fired, missed the 24"X24" steel by an inch, clicked over on click and ding, the target talked to me. It did not seem to move much but the ring was there. Took another shot and got the ding again. I missed low on the third shot but hit the 4th and final shot. All this with a 130grain VLD! Two shots to get on and 3 out of 4 hits, not bad for a sub 3K rifle with a 130gr projectle. Oh yea, it was off a plastic card table!! LOL.
Just for your info, my mile marker is up a mountain across three canyons. Sorry no vid or pics this time, so your just going to have to take my word on it.
