to try out different ammo. 5 shot groups at 100 yards. XM193 was really bad. It's the one on the upper right. LOL 69 and 77 grain SMK seemed to work pretty well. I think I picked the wrong target though. The dot was too small for my old eyes and the scope power. Luckily I was able to finish the groups just before it started raining.

May I suggest a 1" orange paster... I use them then permanent marker the center as a POA.

I will hold off to a repeatable edge of the perm. marker dot if my cross hairs cover the POA.

the end result with the paster looks like this... you can just see the permanent marker dot in the center.

Thanks everyone. I just got hold of some of those stick on orange dots. They should work great with a 1-8x scope at 100 yards.

The rifle has a 14.5" barrel with a pinned and welded compensator. It's really easy to shoot since it has the compensator and a low mass BCG. It's much easier to keep it on target compared to the AR 15 I have for target shooting.
