Just listened to it, excellent Album. I really like Fear Inoculum, Pneuma, and 7empst
Yeah same on song list. But. It feels less gritty man, more floyd ish
Still dark, but less gritty, cleaner
It ain’t Undertow but still awesome. Saw them with Primus in Atlanta, an experience I’ll never forget.
Yeah the songs I wasn’t crazy about the first time around have completely grown on me; Descending and Invincible
Love the band, was so excited to hear new music from them. After a ten year wait, they release an album that sounds just like they did before. Disappointed that they haven't evolved at all....
I saw Tool in Phoenix and Albuquerque several times in probably 2007-2009. I was disappointed that the live shows of that vintage were all exactly the same. I haven’t heard the new album yet, but my buddy said he really likes it.
Haven't heard much from the new album. I did see them live at Red Rocks 20+ years ago.
It sucks, huge disappointment.
Really? I was feeling that way in first listen.
It sounds a bit boring at first. You just have to listen to it again and again to appreciate what they did on this album. Not worth the 13 years of waiting though.
For me its 4 songs.
