A few nights ago. First video was 30 ft from my back patio and the 2nd video is about 20 ft away.

Oh, I definitely won’t. Of all the idiots I know of that poach, I would be one to get caught, and Tx doesn’t mess around with game law violations. I would be in less trouble if I got caught with the police chief’s 14 year old daughter.

Well, one will get you put in jail, the other will get you put under the jail. Police chiefs can be very vindictive.

thank you for sharing your game cam photos they are really neat to see them all.

We build our feeder stands just like that- with a ladder and small area to stand on while filling them up. Beautiful buck!
I originally had one of those cheap bolt on leg kits, but the cows kept knocking my feeders over. An extra stick of angle was well worth the cost and time to weld it together, but honestly, the coons use the ladder more than I do.

Haha! I thought I was the only one that had that problem! I catch them on the camera using those ladders all the time. We started using foot-hold traps baited with mini-marshmallows and that slowed them down a bit.

Finally picked up a Browning Patriot for the house. The does show up pretty much every afternoon. I see them in person all the time. These are the regulars:

I've only seen this guy once on the camera and never in person.

What settings is everyone using? burst? delay between pictures?

On bait sites I prefer a 60 second delay. Later on scrapes I prefer 30 second delay or burst 3 pic.

I've got some Elk I'll post up in here. First season running a trail cam. I thought it'd last all month or two. Filled up the SD card in two weeks! Newb move.

Big boy out behind the house. I'd be more excited, but he's strictly a night visitor here. The land he comes over from is owned by Texas hunters, and they'll be driving everything nocturnal again starting in about 3 weeks when they show up with their buggies and trample the place.

Two decent sized bucks. I may have a better shot at one of these.

Have a new little buddy that has decided to build a web right over the lens of one of my cameras and his little buddy, Mr. Squirrel, has kicked my camera sideways a bit, but this is the best shot I got of this guy.

A little natural mineral lick I found on Forest Service 10-15 years ago, My record number of legal bucks has been 21. This year its 14. Normally get quite a few bear pictures and a few mountain lions. It has 11 beat down trails coming into it like spokes on a wheel. The dirt around the seep has been eaten down a foot over the thousands of years.

Either I time-travelled into the Future or I forget to set the date/time when I put in new batteries. These two bucks have been roaming my neighborhood going on 3-4 years. They seem to like the shade between my woodpiles, but it sure doesn't give them much visibility. I don't know how many times I've spooked them when I walk by to go to my mailbox or when I'm going into my woodshed. I keep hoping I'll find their sheds one year, but hasn't happened.

Had what I consider a giant framed 8 point show up recently. I hope he sticks around for a couple months.

Two pictures from my trail cam. Realize, I live in a rural part of the state, but my area is very much residential. However, I do have about 400 acres of woods behind my house.

These pictures are from my back patio. The deer are 20 yards from the patio. I'm going to try to keep him in the area, but every year he becomes a ghost right before bow season. I've got 17 more days to keep him around the house. BTW, he's either 6 years old or the son of a buck I started seeing about 6 years ago. He's always between 9 and 10 points every year.

Got some better photos of the big 8. I think he may be my big 10 from last year, minus two points obviously.

This buck disappeared before last rifle season, and I never got another pic of him until I moved my feeder about 400 yards South. He was an 11 last year with no kickers. Now he’s a 10 with matching kickers on his g2’s.

Wish I still had the bear trail cam porn I had on video from last year. It was hilarious. The female bear was moaning so loudly it sounded like the thing was about to die. Now that I think about it maybe it was a Male bear getting raped. Well, anyway it was still funny.

Well, my little 9 pointer who has been passing through my yard for the last 6 months, has left the building. Despite my salt block and feeding corn, he's no were to be found. Yes, bow season starts later this week. He hasn't been on the trail cam since last Friday. This is the pattern I've experienced for the last 6 years. I can't tell you how frustrating this is. He's no where in the woods around the house either. He must go deep into those 400 acres of woods.

I love big framed 8s. That dude is a stud of a deer. a few years back the "world record 8" was poached not far from me. I think i have a picture of the replica rack somewhere. The DNR had it on display at the state fair. It was unreal big.

Better food has popped up somewhere. Are acorns falling? Ag crops maturing or being harvested?? Where do you live???
