After a gruesome wait for hard to find parts, my new rifle is in one piece and I don't think I could be happier. If anybody has thought about buying a Sako rifle... they are worth every penny. Also, I'd like to thank Richard at Near Mfg for shipping me one of his TRG sight rails overnight. Very nice product.

Some marks left from 900 and 1000 yard marks. We repainted the target after 800. .308 Federal 168 matchking.

How gruesome was the wait and for which parts? I'm thinking about a TRG and have often wondered what the approximate wait times would be for a foreign/imported rifle and or parts.

Re: TRG finally together and reaching out.

My buddy just got a TRG 22 from Alex at EuroOptics. Alex has all the rifles, and all the goodies that go with them. Alex is a true professional, and a great guy to deal with. I'm about a c-hair away from driving out to PA to get my own TRG rig.

Re: TRG finally together and reaching out.

Obtaining the rifle was easy. My fav local shop had 3 of them. (2 trg-22's, one with the shorter barrel, and a trg-42)

From there, trying to get a sight rail with the correct hardware was another story, but altogether I really only waited about 2 weeks.

+1 On Alex at Eurooptic, I bought my Bipod and Three ring mount from him for my TRG-42, and he was the epitome of professionalism to deal with. Im currently pondering a TRG-22 to join its larger .338 brother and I will most deffinatly be ordering from Alex if I decide to pull the trigger.
