TRG style bipod

I'm looking for a TRG style bipod, or if there's someone out there making an adapter one could install in a stock to take a TRG one.

I've looked at Elite Iron but don't know how well it would go around the wide foerend of a varmint rifle. Tried to order an RPS one but, well, after a couple months that didn't quite work out.

I really like the way the TRGs and RPSs can be easily loaded and kinda lock in once loaded. I have a couple Harris ones now and they don't tend to take much of a load, almost too stiff, tried an older Atlas and had the same issues.

Just wondering what else is out there and I what I should take a look at, would really like to be able to rig a mount for a TRG one but not really wanting to experiment on my own for something that expensive and an adapter would be pretty cool.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nearest thing is prolly the LRA f class bipod , not sure about adapting the TRG .

This is what I went with on my .50 but not the F class version, it's about the strongest bipod you can get. At least I can't see needing one any stronger. The F class has a wider shoulder and the rifle sits lower in it lending for more stability. But I haven't noticed any problems at all with the standard LRA bipod for what I use it for. It's a damn nice bipod, nicest one I have, way better than the atlas. It sounds like you'd want the F class model based on your post.

You can call Dale at Elite and he can tell you all about his bipod, it is worth calling if you are interested in it because it's so expensive (this is the $600 one, right?). Based on their pricing for their cans and the type of work ethic Dale has, I have to imagine this is some helluva bipod, he wouldn't price it for that if it didn't have something big going for it. It's main claim to fame is that it can be rotated 360deg. around the rifle and used upside down as well, like a cradle. Provided it fits, which I'm sure he can tell you. Solid, he said it would handle .50BMG but that it wasn't designed for that. I think it can be adapted to most stocks provided there is enough room for it to rotate around the barrel. Here's where you may need to custom make an adapter or modify an existing one, but where there's a will, there's a way.

I'll check those out, really interested in that adapter, was hoping for something that I could permanently mount inside the stock but I may get some dimensions from them and see how it would work in what I'm looking to attach it to.

The LRA seems pretty cool and beefy, I'll have to do some research on it, mainly looking for something with the nice preloadability that the TRG and RPS ones have, going to mostly use it for around some farms where I varmint hunt and am on deer damage permits, I don't expect it to take a plie of abuse. Rifle is a Stolle action, McMillan marksman mag fil stock with a couple 30" palma taper barrels that I switch between, so some weight there but nothing as heavy as a 50 cal.
