TRG Trigger Group

A non computer savy mate has asked me to find out if the Sako TRG trigger group will fit a Barnard action, we know the Barnard Trigger will fit the Tikka T3, but unsure of the other way around, Hes throwing around ideas for the internal safety on the TRG on his rifle, I prefer the barnard trigger because I dont use a safety on a single shot

There's a T3 trigger from Barnard. It fits the T3 of course, and the TRG trigger fits the T3, so in theory that Barnard trigger should fit the TRG. Now the question is, is the Barnard trigger for the T3 the same as the one for the Barnard action itself? That I do not know and we don't have any Barnard's here anymore.

I used a trg trigger on my tikka mastersporter that uses a 595 action.
