Triad Tactical Large Stock Pack on Savage TR?

Just received my Savage MkII TR. I would like to get a stock pack to get better check weld when I'm lined up with the scope. I cant go any lower on the rings and a pack seams like it would be handy anyways.

I'm just wondering if it would be too big for the boyds stock.

The packs are all adjustable. Either large or the regualr pack will be fine. The only difference I believe, is the size of the pocket. I have one of the regular stock packs in multicam on my McMillan A5.

I'm just wondering if the stock on the butt end of the savage stock is as big as a A5? Or big enough for the pack to fit ok.

I believe you'll be fine.

I've not tried the exact setup you're asking about but the length of the straps can be adjusted underneath since they velcro on, they aren't permanently attached. As stated the pocket is larger, at worst it might wrap around under the stock a slight bit but I doubt it will.

Take a piece of string or a cloth measuring tape, measure around the stock at the sling swivel and post the "girth". We should be able to walk you in by comparison.

Sorry for bumping an old ass post, but it came up in my search.

OP did you ever order the large pack? I don't have my rifle yet but I'm ordering stuff from Triad today and need to know if the large pack will fit that Boyd's stock or not. Rifle is coming in on Monday so I guess I could wait if all else fails.

Yes, Got the large stock pack and it was a good fit for the boyd's stock.
