I just got all of the parts to get this done!

I am pretty happy with how it turned out!

Trijicon RMR - dual Illum. Tritium/Fiber
Tactical Night Vision Company - Scope Accessory Rail Mount for RMR

Sighted in @ 15 yards! Works excellent!

Purpose - Short range, CQB work! Close in precision when the use of magnification won't work! Moving into position. Bad guys or critters get in too close! or Whatever!

What's too close for 1.8X?
Hell, keep the BC cal closed, light uo the reticle and BAC your way through!

Looks good if that's what floats your boat, I run a JPoint at 1:00 on my forend, but I run an ST10-I wouldn;t bother if I had the 1.8-10.

Thought about that, but if I am in my FFP on the scope @ 10x and something unforseen happens as it usually does I won't have time to crank on the power adj. ring.

This kind of goes with that other thread, what is it, "Gear Queer or Well Equipped" something like that!

As usual, just trying to get in front of the curve!

Exactly! That is from the camera flash!

The dual illumination dot size is 9 moa. The LED goes down to 4 moa I believe.

We hope we can enter full production on these RMR SAR units. Glad you like them. The version your looking at is a reversible model since this is the first time we used a footprint for the SARS instead of a rail due to the "large" factory rail mount that comes standard with the RMR that would cause a huge height over bore issue along with too much head movement to engage the dot. With a footprint style mount, you are forced to point the unit in one direction, so we machined an extra set of posts so the user can point the SAR or RMR in either direction based on scope tube real estate. The height over bore is also greatly reduced and there is minimal head movement to see the dot. In fact, with mounting the RMR in this fashion, one does not even come close to breaking his/her cheek weld to engage with the dot.

Vic,
Would this work on an ACOG or would it be better suited with a mount like Trijicon sells the premounted version. Would prefer to keep it low but figured I'd check since you chimed in (not in a bad way).
Thanx...Ghogs

I asked the local dealer to show me that Trijicon dual illumination RMR. He smiled put it on the hard floor and proceeded to stomp the shit out of it, needless to say I was speachless. I thought for sure the light gatherer would be broken, But It was still in one piece and no worse for wear!
The clincher is no damn batteries!
