Does anyone have any experience with a SRO on a 12 gauge? I am looking at sights for a new boom stick and like the wide view on the SRO compared to a RMR. My only real concern is the SRO holding up to the recoil. I do understand that if the gun gets dropped there is a good chance that the lens in the SRO will crack.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have this exact experience but I can say two things - I have an Aimpoint Micro on my Mossberg 930 SPX - have had it for coming up on 11 years now? And I absolutely LOVE IT. Everyone who shoots it loves it. And while I am a big fan of Aimpoint, I might even be a bigger fan of Trijicon, and their stuff is rock solid... I mean I watched a video of some dude using Det Cord to explode a Trijicon riflescope and while it certainly broke, it really did not do nearly the amount of damage I was expecting for someone purposefully kabooming a Trijicon scope! I myself was just on Trijicon's website the other day, doing a little "winning the lottery daydream shopping" and really like the SRO. I would not hesitate. Just my two cents brother.
