Trimming/deburring/chamfering before or after neck resizing?

Pretty straightforward question. This is for neck resizing using only a collet die.

You want all your brass to be a consistent length before neck sizing.

From everything I've read and my own experience thus far, trimming is done after neck sizing.

Reloading gurus, isn't that correct?

After neck sizing, otherwise your case length will be too short. It needs to be the correct shape prior to being trimmed to the desired trim length.

The information I gave was specifically for the Lee Collet die. Sorry for the confusion if this isn't the proper procedure for other dies.

Here is a cut/paste from the Lee instructions:

Clean cases are easier to inspect. Cases can be
decapped, cleaned, trimmed, chamferred, neck reamed
or turned and primer pockets cleaned. For best accuracy,
keep your cases sorted by brand and lot. Some shooters
even sort by weight to insure uniform wall thickness and
case capacity. Check for off center or mis-shaped flash
holes. Maximum accuracy is obtained with cases that
have dead center flash holes of a uniform size.

Trim after resizing, measure your COAL before and after sizing, as the case body and neck stretch the COAL gets longer. If you trim first then resize you can have a case that's over trim length just from sizing.
