Tripod - RRS, PVA-Comp 40, RT90, etc... do all the legs deploy similarly?

So I have a PVA-Comp 40 that I'm using for both my rifle(s) and as tripod for camera work, vlogging, etc. What annoys me is the way the legs deploy.... find myself always turning the wrong way, or loosening the wrong one 😂, etc. I have never owned a tripod, so are all the tripods similar on how they deploy and close up? It's like I want something that just snaps, or locks, as opposed to unscrewing each leg... like a high end bipod (accu-tac, etc) maybe this is just the way it has to be based on the weight capacity these tripods are expected to withstand.

Apologize for the ramble... hopefully that's clear as mud! 🍻

get a RRS and dont look back

for shooting only, get the TFCT-33 or 34

for multi purpose, get the TVC-33 or 34, with the anvil-30 + series 3 platform

Rrs are a quarter turn rotate (one wrist rotation). Super nice. Others that are rotate take alot more rotation to use.

Don't have one yet but it's the only one I want. Tried it out at their HQ showroom in Lehi Utah.

my 90c is just a hair past quarter twist. some are quarter and some are maybe a third. to make sure, I just give it the 1/3rd twist. so it's a little longer than some folks would like, but I just accept it and have no problems. one wrist movement.

The quarter turn is nice. With the twist locks all stacked on top of each other when compressed you can grip 2 of the twist locks at once and deploy pretty quick.I recently got mine and am very glad I went with RRS. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about going with RRS to just do it!
