Tripods for LabRadar/Spotting scope in prone

So I was having a lot of trouble getting my LabRadar to work in the prone position due to how fat my shooting mat is and the bipod loader straps. I was thinking if there was a way to set a tripod up off to the side and have some sort of swing arm (like they have for microphones) to pull it in and set it up perfectly by the bore. Same thing can be said for a spotting scope (half on, half off a thick shooting mat doesn't exactly provide stability). What would be your recommended setup to acheive this? The best thing I could find in my research was a manfrotto 190x, it can go really low to the ground and its center column can be removed and used parallel to the ground but idk if this would actually work well.

-Thanks-

Hmmm. I shoot off a Midway USA mat using the flat plate mount with no problems. It is set up just about even with the chamber section of the barrel, and about 6 in. off to the side. I have the Offset feature set to 6 in. Offset. Make sure to check all your settings to make sure you have them right. The LR is not a plug and play device, but once you set it up properly it tends to run reliably.

I have a Ray Vin Tactical Tripod that rocks for spotting scope use, especially prone. I just use a medium SLIK for the Labradar and although it positions the device higher than the muzzle no issues. Of course, I'm the guy that never has problems with the Labradar picking up suppressed rounds...........................so YMMV!
