I just finished lifting my 08 Ranger about 3 inches. I put new torsion bar keys on the fron and shackles on the rear.
My front shocks are too short. The problem is I cant find a listing nor a reference for the length with the mouts for various shocks.
Used to be when I did this as a pro I could go to my local parts store, tell them what I had they would look in their print catalouge and fine what I need.
I used to even have acess to some of the books my self. Parts stores these days have no clue when your outside the normal.
I needed a battery for my 54 Ford NAA that my father converted fron 6 volt positive ground to 12 volt negative ground with an alternator. They could do nothing for me unless I told them what I have and they could look it up in the computer. Sorry Bucko no listing. Had to bring the battery and give them the size code off of it. Had to get the store manager involved to make it happen. Its like they dont want us doing anything ourselves.
